Praised by the New York Times as “stunning”, Adé Williams is a renowned concert violinist, soloing with over 50 orchestras by age 18, starting with her debut with the Chicago Sinfonietta at age 6. She has soloed with the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestras, the Detroit, Pittsburgh, New World, Indianapolis, and Nashville Symphonies, and Buffalo and KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonics (South Africa). Adé frequents the world’s prestigious stages, including the Kennedy Center, the White House, Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, and Carnegie Hall, where she has since returned five times. She is a fierce competitor with 17 wins by age 17 and is a two-time Sphinx Competition laureate (1st place, Junior Division, 2012; 2nd place, Senior Division, 2019). In addition to her solo career, Adé is a passionate chamber musician and performs with chamber groups of all forms. She is also a sought-after teacher and a young musician advocate through her concert series, Adé & Friends. Adé is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music where she served as concertmaster of the Curtis Symphony Orchestra in the 2018-2019 season and studied with Ida Kavafian. Prior to Curtis, she studied with Almita and Roland Vamos, Marko Dreher, and Rachel Barton Pine. Adé is a member of the Stradivari Society and is the recipient of the “Dancla” G.B. Rogeri of Brescia c. 1700 violin
