U. S. Naval Academy Glee Club

The United States Naval Academy Glee Club consists of the Men’s Glee Club, one of the world’s top men’s choirs, and the Women’s Glee Club, the only all-female military choral group globally. They have appeared on major TV networks such as CBS, NBC, and ABC. The Glee Clubs frequently collaborate with prestigious orchestras and perform renowned works like Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and Britten’s War Requiem. They have toured internationally, performing in Europe, South America, and Asia, and at prominent U.S. venues like Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Notable events include performances at the Medal of Honor Museum groundbreaking, the Pentagon Memorial dedication, and the Presidential Inaugural Concert.

The Naval Academy’s Music Department provides midshipmen with fine arts education, fostering leadership, teamwork, and confidence through musical performance. Midshipmen perform for military and world leaders and are trained to work together to achieve excellence. Each year, over 150,000 people experience live performances, with millions more reached through televised events. The Glee Club proudly represents the United States, the Navy, and the Naval Academy on the global stage. For more information, visit www.usna.edu/music.
