Stewart Goodyear, hailed as “a phenomenon” by the Los Angeles Times and “one of the best pianists of his generation” by the Philadelphia Inquirer, is a distinguished concert pianist, improviser, and composer. He has performed with major orchestras and chamber music organizations worldwide, earning acclaim for his versatility  and artistry.

Goodyear’s recent projects include the release of his piano and orchestra suite Callaloo and piano sonata on Orchid Classics. His compositions include an orchestral work for the Chineke! Orchestra, a Piano Quintet for the Penderecki String Quartet, and a piano piece for the Honens Piano Competition. His works, such as Solo for violin and The Kapak for cello and piano, have been recorded by prominent artists.
