Michael Repper, a Grammy® Award-winning conductor, has captivated audiences across six continents and gained international acclaim for his dynamic performances and dedication to promoting new and diverse talent. In 2023, he became the youngest North American conductor to win a Grammy® for Best Orchestral Performance, achieving
 a milestone with the New York Youth Symphony’s debut recordings of works by Florence Price, Jessie Montgomery, and Valerie Coleman.

Currently, Repper serves as Music Director for the Ashland Symphony Orchestra, Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, and Northern Neck Orchestra of Virginia. He previously held notable roles, including Music Director of the New York Youth Symphony and Principal Conductor of Sinfonía por el Perú. He was also the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Conducting Fellow and New Music Consultant. His talent and growing profile as a guest conductor earned him consecutive Solti Foundation US Career Assistance Awards from 2020 to 2023.
