Allison Mickelson makes her home in Downtown Sioux Falls and has studied and worked in Scotland, NYC, Oregon and Alaska a an actor, teacher, director, movement instructor and creative doula.  She recently earned the Masters of Fine Arts Acting (Classical and Contemporary Text) from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has perfomred across the US as Alison Bechdel in Fun Home, Emily Hobbs in Elf The Musical, Diana Goodman in Next To Normal, Lisa Kron in 2.5 Minute Ride and Well, Sugar in Tiny Beautiful Things and more.  Mickelson performed at the Kennedy Center with Tituss Burgess and her solo shows have been seen around the world.  In Sioux Falls, she is the Music and Drama Teacher at Eugene Field A+ Elementary School and is often seen performing with the Hegg Brothers.  Current projects include Off The Map (cabaret), Green Wool Skirt (devising), hosting Jazz for Young People events at Trio Jazz Club and facilitating community Artist Salons.
