Landon has been a member of the SDSYO program since 2017, progressing from Prelude Strings all the way to the Youth Orchestra, where he has played Cello for the past three years. Landon has have also performed chamber music with Camerata for two years.

Some of his favorite memories with the Youth Orchestra include the side by side performance playing Smetana’s “The Moldau” in November 2024 and performing Rachmaninoff’s “Symphony No. 2” under the direction of Thomas Fortner in May 2024.

This fall, Landon will attend Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, where he has received a Gustavus Select Music Scholarship. Landon plans to pursue a double major in Biology and Music, and continue to play cello as a member of the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra.
