Alexis Lawrence is a trombonist from Sioux Falls with a long list of musical ensembles and experiences she has been a part of over the years. Some of these include: the Washington High School Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Orchestra, and Pit Ensemble (annual play); All-State Orchestra, Band, and Jazz Band; Honor Bands; Community Bands at the University of Sioux Falls and Augustana University; Tuba Christmas; and with the Augustana University Trombone Choir. In the fall, Alexis plans to attend Augustana University to major in Music Education.
