Jacob Pagone is a senior at Lincoln High School and plays the oboe in the Youth Orchestra. He has been a part of SDSYO for 7 years, starting under Jeff Paul in Philharmonia on viola. After high school he will be attending the University of Michigan Oboe Studio with Dr. Nancy Ambrose King. In the wild he can be spotted on long walks or listening to soul, funk, and folk music. When asked about some words to live by, he said, “If anyone tells you your hair is too big, get rid of them...you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.” – Dolly Parton.
