Phil Miani - grew up on  the South side of Chicago in the 50s. Was lucky enough to be admitted to Amherst College in Massachusetts, graduating the class of ‘62. Like many others, I volunteered for military service, US Army for 3 years, mostly in Germany. I found that I loved music in High School, playing Bass and Tuba.  I favored Classical and Jazz.  Landed back in the States in Denver with my little family for 23 years, working in Life Insurance and Investments.  I discovered Key West in 1976 and decided to choose tropics over mountains and moved 3 years later.  No regrets!  Started attending the Key West Symphony, Jacqueline found and recruited me. Then again to the Board a few years later!  Love it and the rest is History.  Very fond of the Children’s Program, which I believe is a powerful Community Service!  Hope you all get involved!
