Phil Miani - grew up on the South side of Chicago in the 50s. Was lucky enough to be admitted to Amherst College in Massachusetts, graduating the class of ‘62. Like many others, Phill Miani volunteered for military service in, the US Army for 3 years, mostly in Germany. He found a love for music in High School, playing Bass and Tuba and favored Classical and Jazz. Upon landing back in the States, he moved to Denver with his little family for 23 years, working in Life Insurance and Investments. In 1976, he discovered Key West and decided to choose the tropics over mountains and moved 3 years later.
When he discovered the Key West Symphony he really grew close with the organization and was later recruited by Jacqueline. Then again to the Board a few years later! Over the years, Phill grew very fond of the Children’s Program, which he believed is a powerful Community Service!
