Music therapy is an emerging and rapidly growing profession in the Philippines. This presentation explores how the music therapy program was established in Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Philippines. This also highlights its remarkable growth and success over time, and how this small step has led to the establishment of the first music therapy center in central and southern Philippines, marking a significant milestone in the field.
