Ily Maniano’s arrangement of Caturog Na Nonoy (“Sleep Now, Little Boy”) is from a lullabye of the Bicol region of the Philippines. It is sung in the Bicol language. 

Maniano creates this ethereal and familial feeling through his dynamic use of rich and flowing harmonies and rhythms created by the choir while the soprano soloist is leading the main melody. The warm harmonies combined with the rhythms are reminiscent of a cradle rocking a baby to sleep.
