Alyssa Cabassa is a spirited Puerto-Rican violist from Northern Virginia and Maryland. Her major performances have included playing in ensembles at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall, Millennium Stage, U.S. Capitol Congressional Record, and embassies in Washington D.C. Alyssa also actively performs as the principal violist of the Mason Symphony Orchestra and member of the Spheres Project. To pursue her music degree, she has been awarded the Monson, Aitel, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) Scholarships at George Mason University. Alyssa is currently studying for a Bachelor of Music double majoring in Viola Performance along with Music Education.
