Flutist Charlene Romano performs throughout the Shenandoah Valley and in the DC Metro area. She maintains an active private flute studio in Winchester, and was recently named Director of the Apple Valley Flute Choir. Romano has served on the faculties of Shenandoah University, Solano Community College, and Sacramento State University - Community Music Division. She has extensive chamber music and orchestral experience, has recorded soundtracks for documentary films, and is a published author on the topics of flute and music theory pedagogy.
