Oboe/English Horn

Elizabeth Felando (Oboe/English Horn) is a driven and multifaceted musician currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree at Manhattan School of Music. As an active performer in the NYC music community, she holds positions with the Manhattan Symphony Orchestra, New York Youth Symphony at Carnegie Hall, and Brooklyn String Orchestra. Following her passion for theatre, her recent pit orchestra experience includes serving as Principal Oboist and English Horn for productions such as Madame Butterfly, Pippin, Oklahoma, The Nutcracker, and The Crucible. She has attended prestigious summer programs at Eastern Music Festival and Brevard Music Festival, and runs her own reed-making business, "Reeds by Lizzy," with the mission of improving the experience of beginner students oboists.
