in the shelter of the fold premiered on November 5, 2016 at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College in Purchase, New York, and was created in residence at Skidmore College in Saratoga, New York, with funding from the New York State Council for the Arts; the Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, Maine, with funding from the National Performance Network, National Endowment for the Arts, other foundations and individual support; and Purchase College as a joint project between the Performing Arts Center and the Conservatory of Dance.
