Coleman Wright is currently a doctoral student at Shenandoah Conservatory and serves as a post-master’s teaching assistant. Wright also serves as an adjunct instructor of saxophone at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, as well as the Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia. Wright has taken part in various consortia for new saxophone repertoire by composers such as Nina Shekhar, Karalyn Schubring and Piet Swerts. Some performance highlights include being a winner of the 2019 South Carolina MTNA chamber music competition, as well as being a concerto soloist with the University of South Carolina Symphony Orchestra.
