Alexander Ferrari is an accomplished and versatile trumpet player with a passion and unwavering dedication towards expressing the highest level of artistry in all performance settings. Ferrari acted as second trumpet in the reputable American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, and rehearsed with world-renowned maestro Gianandrea Noseda and members of the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO). Ferrari learned to play with artistry in the exclusive brass choir, Brass of Peace, and was selected to perform on a European tour with the Virginia Ambassadors of Music, performing in France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Ferrari is currently studying with Mary Elizabeth Bowden while completing a Bachelor of Music degree at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia, and recently toured with the Shenandoah Conservatory Studio Big Band, performing across Spain and Portugal. Ferrari currently holds positions in the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and Brass Quintet at Shenandoah Conservatory where he perfects his technique while leading with artistry.
