Alyssa Bonfardeci is a first-year master’s student in pedagogy (classical voice), studying with Dr. Melissa Chávez. Originally from Syracuse, New York, she earned her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from the Crane School of Music at the SUNY College at Potsdam. Her recent roles include Nurse/Harriet Pawling in Sunday in the Park with George (Central New York Playhouse), Claudette in Bluebeard’s Waiting Room and Mary in Computing Venus (Crane Opera Ensemble), and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro and Cercatrice in Suor Angelica (La Musica Lirica). She was also recently named a finalist in Shenandoah Conservatory’s Student Soloists Competition. Bonfardeci hopes you enjoy the performance!
