Allison Foster (she/her) is from Frederick County, Virginia, where she has trained in many styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, modern and contemporary. She began her training at Vostrikov’s Academy of Ballet, under the direction of Melissa Kauffmann, where she also trained under Faith Lees Biddulph, Beth Sager, Taylor Tyser and Claire Bloom. She performed roles in The Nutcracker (Dew Drop Fairy), Sleeping Beauty (Carabosse) and Beauty and the Beast (soloist role). Throughout her dance training she has attended many summer intensives such as Ballet Magnificat, and in-studio intensives. Foster will graduate from Shenandoah University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in dance. While at Shenandoah, she trained under faculty including Erica Helm, Ben Howard, Mary Robare and Katherine Zukeri. She enjoys teaching and choreographing as well. She aspires to use dance as a powerful tool to inspire, uplift and empower the next generation of dancers. She is dedicated to fostering creativity, confidence and self-expression, and hopes to make a lasting impact both in the studio and within her community.
