Amalia Kerlish (she/her) is a performer from Hampstead, Maryland, and has been dancing since the age of eight. She trained at Charm City Ballet throughout middle and high school, studying styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap and modern. In addition to her training, she was an assistant teacher throughout most of high school for ballet classes and summer camps. Kerlish performed with Charm City Ballet in full-length ballets including Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. She has also furthered her training by attending summer intensives at The Rock School for Dance Education and Cincinnati Ballet. Kerlish is currently a sophomore at Shenandoah University where she has performed in ensembles choreographed by Danial Padierna and Tiffanie Carson. She is pursuing degrees in dance (Bachelor of Arts) and biology (Bachelor of Science) with an anticipated graduation in 2028.
