As an associate choreographer, credits include the movie musical motion picture, The Deb (directed by Rebel Wilson) available on Apple TV and Prime Video; The Producers (West End); The Heart of Rock and Roll (Broadway); Mrs. Doubtfire (Broadway, West End, U.S. tour, Germany, Australia); La Traviata (The Metropolitan Opera); Almost Famous (Old Globe); Merrily We Roll Along (Fiasco/Roundabout Theatre).
As a performer, he has appeared on Broadway in West Side Story, Billy Elliot, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, Evita, Side Show, Matilda, and Hello, Dolly! He also appeared on the Academy Awards, the Tony Awards, the Kennedy Center Honors, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Guys and Dolls (Carnegie Hall), and in the opening musical number of Seth MacFarlane’s feature film Ted 2.
Proudly hailing from Queensland, Australia, Slinger moved to New York after receiving an invitation to attend American Ballet Theatre on a full scholarship. He later joined the prestigious Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance program at The Juilliard School in New York and remains the first Australian accepted into either institution.
