Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Phelan Newman ’27 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting) is honored beyond belief to be in her sixth and final main stage production at Shenandoah Conservatory. This show is extra special to her, as she’s making her Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre debut in the first musical she has worked on in over three years! Favorite past credits include Our Lady of 121st Street (Marcia), The Miser (Dame Claude), Antigone (Chorus), and The Little Mermaid (Ursula).

She cannot thank Kevin, Patrick, MJ, and the rest of this brilliant company enough for believing in her and including her in their magical musical theatre world. She couldn’t think of a better way to close out her college career.

All the love to her mom, dad, Locklin, grandma, and mini poodle Dinkus, as well as her roomates and precious dog Buckley at The Barbie Dreamhouse!

For Charlie Newman, the best grandfather a girl could’ve ever asked for.
