Originally from Robertsdale, Alabama, Evan Smith (he/him) is thrilled to continue doing what he loves at Shenandoah Conservatory, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. At Shenandoah, he has appeared in On the Town (Gabey) and Catch Me If You Can (Ensemble). This past summer, Smith had the opportunity to perform at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts in Cats (Mr. Mistoffelees), Carousel (Carnival Boy), and Footloose (Bickle/Dance Captain). Other favorite credits include Grease (Danny Zuko), Newsies (Race), Seussical (Cat in the Hat), and Annie (Rooster). Smith grew up training in competitive dance at Driven Dance Company, where he danced for fourteen years before pursuing musical theatre at the collegiate level. He is incredibly grateful for every opportunity that has shaped him as a performer and would like to thank his teachers, mentors, friends, and family for their constant love and support. Above all, Smith thanks God for the opportunity to continue pursuing his passion and doing what he loves.
