William Rimmer (1862–1936) was a Lancashire composer and a conductor of brass band music. He is well known for his march compositions. Jenny Jones is a famous Welsh melody and this version showcases the tune in a myriad of virtuosic variations. This piece is a standard part of solo euphonium and cornet repertoire.
