Dasia-Marie Mitchell is a sophomore student currently attending Shenandoah University for a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Voice). She has always had a passion for the arts, and because of that she joined the performing arts program at her previous high school which led her on the career path she is on now. She is currently an active member of the Harambee Gospel Choir, the treasurer of the Black Student Union, and an assistant director for The New World of Opera. Some other things she enjoys are playing the piano, painting and reading. Her future plans involve opening a nonprofit performing arts organization to help the less fortunate achieve their passions in their desired performing arts field. Dasia-Marie Mitchell has hope for the future generations to come and is thankful for those supporting her so that she may support others.
