Madalyn Navis is a violinist, music educator and chamber musician currently residing in Alexandria, Virginia. She earned a double bachelor’s degree in instrumental music education and violin performance from Hope College and a Master of Music in violin performance from Bowling Green State University, where she was a member of the Graduate String Quartet. Ms. Navis has attended National Orchestral Institute + Festival and The Next Festival for Emerging Artists. She has played with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, the Lima Symphony Orchestra, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater, Hope Summer Repertory Theater, Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Jackson Symphony Orchestra and the Holland Symphony. She teaches a private violin studio at Opal Music Studio in Old Town Alexandria.
