James is a professional lighting and media designer based out of the Washington, D.C. area. In the D.C. area he has designed for the Mosaic Theater Company, NextStop Theatre, Riverside Dinner Theatre, Ravel Dance Company, Greater Washington Ballet, Rorschach Theatre and The Creative Cauldron. Outside the D.C. area his designs have been seen at The Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Heartland Theatre, and The Clinton Area Showboat to name a few. As well as being an active designer in the D.C. community, James is also the full-time production manager and lighting designer for the Artistic Concepts Group in Chantilly. James hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production (Scenic Design and Lighting Design) from Shenandoah Conservatory and an Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Illinois State University.
