Gumaro Gomez is from Houston, Texas, where he received his bachelor's in music education from the University of Houston Moore's School of Music. He taught middle school band for three years and masterclasses/private lessons for over a decade. Ensemble and performance experience includes symphony orchestras such as the Cave Run Symphony Orchestra, Pasadena Philharmonic, Clear Lake Symphony and Sacred Winds; Cumbia and Tejano Latin bands Los Gavilanes de la Cumbia and Sandy G y los Gavilanes; and many churches chamber ensembles and regional theater work. He currently resides in Kentucky and is attending Morehead State University working towards his master's in trumpet performance.
