Shaofeng Zheng is a baritone returning this fall  from China to continue pursuing his Doctoral of Musical Arts in Performance (Voice) after two years of remote study and teaching. He is currently studying voice under Dr. David Meyer in Shenandoah Conservatory. Shaofeng graduated with a Master of Artistic Voice Medicine in Beijing Central Conservatory and with a Bachelor of Voice Performance in Guangzhou Xinghai Censervatory. He played Simone in Gianni Schicchi and performed as an ensemble actor in Turrandot. He is thrilled to have this precious experience on Shenandoah University’s stage. Shaofeng is grateful to his family, friends, mentors and talented cast mates for being so supportive and inspiring to him.
