Matthew Neal is a percussionist, audio engineer, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist performer from Christiansburg, Virginia. Studying Music Production & Recording Technology at Shenandoah Conservatory, Matthew performs in large ensembles, pit orchestras, the Shenandoah University Marching Hornets and the university’s percussion ensemble as well as performing as an instrumental accompanist and studio musician for an assortment of groups and studio sessions. Professionally, Matthew works as an audio engineer, both running live audio and recording and producing for other musicians as well as himself. All the while, he enjoys performing regularly both as a solo musician and as a band member with a number of groups across Southwest Virginia.
