Katie Bumbalo (she/her) is from Chesterfield, Virginia, and trained at J'adore Dance Studio for eleven years. There she studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, modern, pointe and acro. From 2017 to 2019, she attended Commercial Dance Intensive run by Casey Noblett, Cassidy Noblett and Adam Cates. She also participated in The Rockettes Experience Intensive and the New York City Dance Alliance (NYCDA) Fall Intensive. She has attended conventions and competitions such as NYCDA, Nuvo, Jump and 24Seven, and has been awarded scholarships to intensives at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, The Collaboration, Liberate Artists Intensive and SLIDE with Mike Minery. She has danced in Francesca Maria’s The Bombay Remix music video and Yanni Burton’s A Part of Me music video directed by Drooid Brian Thomas. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Shenandoah Conservatory.
