“To me personally, Dance Theater means that there’s no hierarchy of materials you can use to make a piece…I feel this complete free range as I try to express something, to use a whole variety of theatrical elements, like relationship, cause and effect, clothes, dance, singing, talking, found text, plays, literature—a cornucopia of theatrical possibilities.”
– Anna B. Parson
This piece is an illustration of the conflict between peace and chaos, between clarity and confusion, between that which we believe and that which may really be. I’ve deliberately created an abstract work, a nonlinear collection of texts, images, and movements that are best viewed with an open heart and curious mind.
