Alberto Grau Dolcet (born in 1937, in Catalonia, Spain) is a Venezuelan composer, educator and choral conductor. He has been a driving force behind choral music in Venezuela, serving as the founding director of the Schola Cantorum de Caracas, a Venezuelan choral ensemble that achieved significant success and served as the foundation for numerous musical art development projects, including the Schola Cantorum de Caracas Foundation and the Cantemos Choral Movement Foundation. From 1982 to 1996, he held the position of vice president of the International Federation for Choral Music.
