Brian is a classical baritone originally from Petersburg, Virginia. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music degree at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia, studying with Dr. David Meyer. Brian has also studied voice performance at Longwood University under the tutelage of Dr. Christopher Swanson and Dr. Lisa Burrs. Brian will be making his operatic debut at Shenandoah as Boris in Shostakovich’s Moscow, Cheryomushki. Previously, he portrayed the role of Mercurio in Claudio Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea, produced by Capitol Opera Richmond. Despite his academic pursuits, Brian remains deeply connected to his community. He actively participates in community engagements and outreach programs, sharing his love for opera with local audiences and inspiring a new generation of young musicians.
