Nora Hunter is a junior English major with a minor in professional and popular writing at Shenandoah University (SU) where she is the president of both the Writers’ Club and Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society. During her time at SU,  Nora has also served as an editor for our Avalon arts magazine. This year will be her third as a member of the YSLS planning committee,  as well. Nora is also a proud member of the Shenandoah University Marching Band where she plays bass drum. Some of her favorite genres to read are literary fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy.

Nora has always been dedicated to cultivating spaces for writers and lovers of literature. It has been an absolute honor for her to participate in this project and to contribute so much love and dedication to this academic and creative endeavor.
