Shannon Kane is a soprano originally from Ruckersville, Virginia. She is in her final year of pursuing a Bachelors of Music in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral and General Music and a Certificate in Voice Performance. She currently studies in the studio of professor Diane Atherton, and previously studied with Marita Stryker.
While at Shenandoah University (SU), she has performed with Shenandoah Chorus, Conservatory Choir, and serves as alto section leader at Trinity Episcopal Church. She has spent a large portion of her time at SU as a member of organizations such as Shenandoah Conservatory: National Association for Music Education, Sigma Alpha Iota: Gamma Gamma Chapter, and Shenandoah University: American Choral Directors Association.
