Jake Runestad (b. 1986) is an award-winning American composer known for his expressive and versatile music, featuring soaring melodies, driving rhythms, and rich textures. His works span choral, orchestral, wind band, opera, and chamber music, with performances by renowned ensembles worldwide. Runestad holds a master’s degree from the Peabody Conservatory, studying under Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Kevin Puts.
