Chenchen Hu, a native of China, is a soprano who has actively performed in both China and abroad. She has given two solo recitals and participated in multiple concerts at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. In 2023, she portrayed the role of Musetta in scenes from La Bohème at the Sichuan Conservatory Opera Theatre. During her master’s studies, she was awarded a first-class academic scholarship twice. Hu was selected as one of eight singers to participate in the Art of Voice Master Class series, culminating in a concert in Salzburg, Austria, with renowned soprano Barbara Bonney. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Musical Arts degrees from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance (Voice) at Shenandoah University under the guidance of professor Fotina Naumenko.
