Originally from Petersburg, Virginia, Kevin has been playing music since the age of five and is accomplished on the piano, drums, trumpet, and trombone. He has been performing locally for over 30 years, with more than 20 spent right here at The Carolina Opry. A recent graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in commercial music and jazz. He finds this training to be invaluable with his responsibilities as Musical Director. In addition to The Carolina Opry, Kevin has been the music minister for his church for over 20 years, where he leads worship along with his two sons, Tyler and Joshua.

Kevin states that he is "extremely fortunate to work for The Carolina Opry; an organization with talent from the top all the way down!” Kevin lives in Surfside Beach, with his beautiful wife of 35 years, Marsha.
