John Lister (Count Franz Orsini-Rosenberg) returns for his third production with Steppenwolf. Having previously appeared as Thomas Putnam in The Crucible, and as understudy for Jeff Perry in No Man’s Land. Theatre credits include numerous productions with: The Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Writers, Northlight, American Players, Indiana Repertory and Remy Bumppo. Film and TV credits include: Public Enemies (Universal), Animals (Oscilloscope), The Secret Santa (TLC), Chicago Fire (NBC), Chicago Med (NBC), Patriot (Amazon), easy (Netflix), The Red Line (CBS) and Dark Matter (Apple TV+). He can also be seen in the soon to be released film Never Not Yours. John holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Michigan State University. He is represented by Stewart Talent Management.
