John Lister (u/s Captain) returns for his fourth production with Steppenwolf. Having previously appeared as Thomas Putnam in The Crucible, as understudy for Jeff Perry in No Man’s Land, and Count Orsini-Rosenberg in Amadeus. Theatre credits include numerous productions with: The Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Writers, Northlight, American Players, Indiana Repertory and Remy Bumppo. Film and TV credits include: Public Enemies (Universal), Animals (Oscilloscope), Never Not Yours (Adult Children), The Secret Santa (TLC), Chicago Fire (NBC), Chicago Med (NBC), Patriot (Amazon), easy (Netflix), The Red Line (CBS) and Dark Matter (Apple TV+). John holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Michigan State University. He is represented by Stewart Talent Management. Love to LDG.
