Alexandra Thibault, soprano, is a senior at the University of Kentucky, studying under the advisement of Dr. Casey Nardolillo. She is pursuing a double major in Voice and Psychology and received the 2021 Alltech Encouragement Award. Alexandra placed 2nd in the undergraduate National Association of Teachers of Singing regional division in 2018. Alexandra has been in several operas with the University of Kentucky, including “Die Zauberflöte” (as second Spirit), “Don Giovanni” (as Zerlina), and “Le Nozze di Fiagro” (as Barbarina) by Mozart. She has also played the role of Mrs. Gleaton in Carlisle Floyd’s, Susannah. She was a part of the University of Kentucky's 2023 Stars of Tomorrow Opera Gala filmed by KET and sang a featured selection from Bizet's Carmen. Alexandra is a natural performer who finds immense joy in the art of acting, infusing her performances with depth and authenticity. She looks forward to her coming years in music!
