Kathryn Whitbeck, a versatile classical and contemporary vocalist from San Marcos, Texas, has made a name for herself in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area, where she performs regularly. Known for her dynamic vocal abilities, Kathryn’s performances span a wide range of genres and settings.
Recently, Kathryn was the featured soloist in Symphoncity’s "Symphony by the Sea" concert.
Her musical versatility is further showcased through her work with the horn band Brasswind, where she brings to life the sounds of legendary acts like Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago.
Kathryn serves as a section leader at Norfolk’s First Presbyterian Church and periodically takes on operatic and oratorical roles.
After serving six years in the United States Navy as a musician, she emerged with a strong sense of discipline and commitment.
