Emily Schrader (Steph) Emily Schrader (Steph in Doppelganger/u/s Annie in Making a Connection) was recently running Don Kirshner's office as Lucille/Ensemble in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Weathervane. She is excited to be back on stage here the following weekend. Some recent/favorite roles include: Cookie Cusack in Rumors (Western Reserve Playhouse), Violet Newstead in 9 to 5 (Carnation City Players), Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher (Blank Canvas Theatre), Phoebe D’Ysquith in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Carnation City Players), and Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Avenue Arts). By day, Emily is a speech-language pathologist at Akron Children’s and is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and advocacy. “For Grandma Dot, who now has a front row seat to every show.”
