Dedication

This year’s 8x10: The Eileen Moushey TheatreFest marks the first festival since the passing of its beloved namesake, Eileen Moushey. A pillar of Weathervane Playhouse for decades, Eileen’s influence reached every corner of our organization—onstage, backstage, in the boardroom, and beyond. Her vision and leadership helped shape Weathervane into the vibrant organization it is today, and her impact continues to be felt in everything we do.

Eileen’s passion for storytelling, her commitment to nurturing new voices, and her unwavering dedication to excellence made her a guiding force behind this festival. As we gather to celebrate new works and emerging talent, we also celebrate her legacy—a legacy that lives on through every line spoken, every laugh shared, and every audience moved. This year’s festival is dedicated to Eileen’s memory, with gratitude for all she gave and all she continues to inspire.
