John Ebner
Pit Conductor, Collaborative Keyboardist, Keyboards

John Ebner has worked extensively as a keyboardist, music director and accompanist for the Carousel Dinner Theatre, Coach House Theatre, Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Players Guild of Canton, Weathervane Playhouse, Western Reserve Playhouse and the Voices of Canton. He is the recipient of seven Chanticleer Awards and a YACTA Marquee Award for his work at Weathervane along with an Addy Award (which he shares with the Weathervane cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). He has had great opportunities over the years including working with Arthur Fiedler and Paul Williams and performing at the Cleveland House of Blues and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He has also done commercial work for the Cleveland Cavaliers and served as a consultant for the Mattlin-Hyde Piano Company. He has a master’s degree in music from the University of Akron and is a member of the Ohio Music Education Association and a Life Member of the American Federation of Musicians. He is thrilled to work with this outstanding group of directors, actors, musicians and crew. He would like to dedicate this performance to Erin, Anna and Nattie.
