Ralph Cooley
Santa Claus

Ralph Cooley has been involved in theater for more than 55 years. He has designed sets, costumes, and the puppets for Weathervane’s Little Shop of Horrors as well as the crows for The Wiz. Ralph has won eight Chanticleer Awards for acting, one Chanticleer for design, and one Trustees’ award. He also received one Royal Coach Award at Coach House Theatre and one award for acting excellence from OCTA, the Ohio Community Theatre Association. Ralph says that it is great to be working with director Marissa Leenaarts, who played his daughter when he was Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof here at Weathervane in 2002. He thinks it is wonderful to work with so many talented young people for this show. Ralph wants to thank his lovely wife Wendy for letting him pretend again! “Let's make magic happen!”
