Robert Weibezahl (Playwright) is delighted to make his debut at Weathervane Playhouse. His plays have been performed in New York, California, Massachusetts, Arizona, Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, Kansas, and Australia. Playwriting honors including Winner of the 2020 Quarantine Playwriting Competition at the Grand Theatre, Cartersville, Georgia; finalist at Dayton Playhouse’s FutureFest 2019; and selection for the William Inge Theatre Festival New Play Lab (2022) and the Palisades Playwrights Festival (2018, 2019). Dan Reichert (Cody) is thrilled to be returning to the stage after making his Weathervane Playhouse debut as Anthony Marston in the 2019 production of And Then There Were None. Other notable credits include: The Play That Goes Wrong (Dennis/Perkins),You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown), Hairspray (Fender), Grease (Roger), Waiting for Godot (Pozzo), and The Music Man (Marcellus). Dan earned his BA in Public Relations and Theatre Arts from Heidelberg University and MEd in Counseling from Kent State University
Peggy Coyle (Frances) is excited to be back at Weathervane for her second production. “Thank you to April Deming for this opportunity!” Peggy was last seen as Velma in Hairspray (Chanticleer Award). She is a ’78 graduate of the Performing Arts Program at Akron’s Central-Hower High School and also appeared in the Goodyear Musical Theatre production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She has enjoyed a singing career gigging with the best talent Northeast Ohio has to offer for over 40 years. She also does the occasional voice/over for radio and TV. Peggy sends a shout out to the special man in her life, Dirk, and to her Weathervane Preview Night pals: Karen, Kathie and Sally.
