THE FIRST DRAFT

Robbie Ballew (Playwright) Robbie Ballew is a full-time parent, part-time writer who stays home with his three kids while his wife pursues her Masters in Costume Design and Technology. He has a degree in Theatre, a Masters in Film, and has published a series of fantasy novels. He has acted in such iconic roles as Paul in Barefoot in the Park, and directed such classics as It's a Wonderful Life. His storytelling philosophy can be summarized by this quote: "If one is to understand the great mystery, one must study all its aspects." — Chancellor Palpatine.

Sean Vollman (Author) Sean is humbled to return to the Weathervane stage as part of 8x10: The Eileen Moushey TheatreFest. He made his onstage debut this past summer as Teddy Roosevelt/Nunzio/Ensemble in Weathervane’s production of Disney’s Newsies. By day Sean is the City of Akron’s Deputy Mayor for Integrated Development. Sean wants to thank the real-life author of The First Draft, Robbie Ballew; April, Jonathon, and Jeannie for giving him this shot; and Heather and Adam for being such terrific scene partners. Most importantly Sean would like to thank his wife Elise, his mother, father, sisters and daughters for the love and support needed to succeed over the years.

Heather Culotta (Rowena) Heather Culotta is ecstatic to be back at Weathervane joining the incredible cast of 8x10: The Eileen Moushey TheatreFest. Some of her past credits include: Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Lauren (Kinky Boots, Ohio), Pharaoh (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Ohio), Kate (Kiss Me, Kate, Ohio), Marian (The Music Man, Ohio), Vivian (Stepp Stewart's Show-N-Tell, Georgia), Featured Vocalist (Stepp Stewart’s Red Hot Broadway, New York City), Jannine (One Night at the Disco, Georgia). Heather is eternally grateful for her family and friends for a lifetime of support, and so excited to be able to now include this cast and crew among her family.

Adam Alderson (Rhys) Adam C. Alderson is pleased to be performing once again in 8x10: the Eileen Moushey TheatreFest at Weathervane Playhouse. Seen recently at Weathervane as Robert in The Play the Goes Wrong, Col. Mustard in Clue, Dr. Simon Jordan in Alias Grace, and his Chanticleer Award-winning performance as the Baker in Into the Woods, Adam has also performed in other theaters throughout northern Ohio. Some of his other favorite roles include Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, Sheridan Whiteside in The Man Who Came to Dinner, and Herr Schultz in Cabaret. Adam has also worked backstage as a director, music director, and dialect coach. He would like to thank his wife, Patti, his son, Alex, and his entire family for their unfailing support of his theatrical pursuits.
